Mr. Serghei Covali is the Managing Partner at COVALI | Litigation & Arbitration. He is passionate about dispute resolution in the business field, especially cross border disputes and international arbitration.
Mr. Covali has litigated for a series of clients from the USA, Italy, Romania, the UK, and other countries. His advocacy stile, be it written or oral, is a good combination of common law and civil law abilities. He has represented clients in complex disputes before various international arbitration tribunals. Serghei assisted clients (through US qualified lawyers) before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Serghei is one of the very few professionals in Moldova, who feels comfortable in representing clients as a lead counsel in international arbitration (be it under ICC, SCC, LCIA or UNCITRAL arbitration rules). He is regularly teaching courses on international commercial arbitration at the local Bar.
